Adi Abeito– The Administrator of the Maekel region, Major General Romodan Awliay held a meeting with local farmers today, at Adi Abeito.

In a meeting held this afternoon,  Maj. General Romodan Awliay warned local farmers to stop being lazy and start producing gluten-free wheat in the forthcoming harvest seasons.

“WE TOLD YOU TIME AND AGAIN– WE DO NOT WANT WHEAT THAT CONTAINS GLUTEN, AND THEREFORE YOUR PRODUCTS MUST BEAR THE EXPORT GOLD STANDARDS OF GRAIN.” WARNED THE GOOD GENERAL.

Major General Romodan Awliay, who spoke tirelessly for more than seven and quarter hours lecturing the farmers of the benefits of growing gluten-free wheat, stressed the importance of applying the values and norms that were acquired in the glorious struggle for the independence of Eritrea in this period of tryst.

Citing reliable intelligence gathered from members of the Eritrean Intelligence Committee abroad, the good general reminded local farmers to be watchful.

“We must be watchful, as we expect the United Nations and the Commission of Inquiry, as a direct continuation of their interferences in the affairs of the Eritrean state, have plans to send locusts and weed upon the next harvest season, and therefore we must always be ready to defend against such threats.” He said.

Maj. General Awliyay concluded his address to the local farmers by extending a gentle reminder to pay up their taxes in time and become diligent members of the local militia — on whom he has huge expectations to save our glorious nation once again from invading forces.
