Liam Neeson Slams ‘The View’ Interview, Calling Out “BS” Part About Joy Behar Having A Crush

During an appearance on The View, Liam Neeson was made to feel uneasy. On February 15, the Marlowe actor appeared on the ABC daytime chat show and was unimpressed with his portion.

“I was in the dressing room enjoying a cup of tea, turned the TV up, and I thought, well, this will be nice. “They’re talking about gun violence in America, and I agree that it’s an American problem,” he said in an interview with Rolling Stone. “At the break, I go onstage and join the ladies, and I congratulate them on their discussion.”

“And then our piece starts, and it’s just this Bullshit with Joy [Behar] and Liam Neeson and having a crush, and I’ve known Whoopi for years and Joy a little bit, but I just wasn’t impressed,” Neeson continued. “You know how I feel in those situations?”

Neeson did, however, remark that he “had a brief chat afterward” with former prosecutor Sunny Hostin, which he described as a “intellectual conversation.”

“But then the section is about this — oof —thirteen, fourteen-year-old crush. “It’s just a little awkward,” he continued.

Behar intimated at the start of the conversation that they talk about Neeson a lot on the programme, prompting co-host Ana Navarro to rebuke her and remark, “You talk about him a lot.”

“Hey, shut up, don’t blow my cover up,” Behar joked, while Alyssa Farah Griffin suggested that the comic would like to be “taken” by the actor.

Later, Behar joked that she received a late Valentine’s Day card from Neeson but would later discover that he had given one to each of them. Hostin went on to say that “he wrote something extremely special on mine,” implying that Behar’s letter was generic. Navarro requested that Neeson add another heart to Behar’s card to make it more unique.

The show then marketed a supercut of all the times Behar brought up Neeson on the show, frequently joking about having her ashes thrown all over him and getting “arouses” by the Taken flicks.

“You got the cheques, right?” Neeson said, leaving Behar dumbfounded and jokingly calling out producer Brian Teta for “embarrassing” her.

By the end of Neeson’s second-block section, Behar had reiterated his notorious Taken phrase, “I will find you and I will kill you.”

“Oh Joy, stop it,” Neeson said. Get a grip!”

While the co-hosts chuckled, Whoopi ended the programme by playfully declaring she was “afraid” to welcome Neeson back because of the turmoil he caused among the co-hosts.
